Review : Good product, wish it had a few more options
I love the wireless aspect of this product, which is probably the only reason i could spend $90 on a new microphone. I wrote this review to answer some of the questions i had before i bought it for anyone else who might have the same questions...

1) This mic will "take over" all audio output for your CB radio. So far as i can tell, there is no way to NOT have the sounds from your CB come out of this mic. I thought maybe my external speaker would take over, but when the external speaker is plugged in with the wireless handset there is a horrible tone that is emitted from both the microphone handset and the external speaker... I had to unplug my external speaker to get it to stop. So if you buy this, make sure that's what you want!

2) The docking station does NOT charge the handset... you have to plug it in separately with the supplied charger. The charger can also be used to automatically turn off the handset when you turn off the car (otherwise the unit waits 2...


I believe, explains the few complaints respecting Uniden BC906W CB Wireless Microphone not fitting or leaking.
