I researched all brands of DVD players for at least two months before deciding on this Panasonic. I know Panasonic is a trusted brand, but I've never used any of their car equipment before. After all the research was done, I narrowed it down to just a few top choices. Then I began hunting for the best price. That was where I hit a few walls. I think having a DVD player in the car is great, but is it worth $800...? Not to me. After I came to the realization that I wasn't willing to pay that much money, my final decision was easy.. the Panasonic. I can't say enough good things about this product. It does everything that all the other top brands do and for half the price!! I know it might be hard to believe, but it's true. If you're in the market for a DVD player, take this one into serious consideration. I've been able to compare the picture quality to the other popular brands and this one is just as clear. The only thing I can warn any one about is that there is no GPS system for this...
