Review : Good replacement stereo
The stereo unit works great. The radio reception is exceptional. It picks up more stations than I am able to get with any of my cars. I have not used the SD card or USB slot, but the AUX in works fine. I use it with my phone all the time. The head unit is not very deep since it does not play CD's. This will allow more mounting options. The speakers sound pretty good. They are sealed water tight on the backside. The only bad part is that the grill and speaker are 1 unit. The mounting screws go through the plastic grill for mounting. The grill itself is flimsy and will crack easily (bumped into one and cracked it already). If you can figure a way to use different grill covers they would be great. The splash cover is just that. The lid does not seal tight to the base, even though there is a rubber gasket. It will protect it from splashes though. We'll see how it does over time. Overall a decent buy.
