Review : Good DVD player for the price
I bought this Teknique DVD player to replace a Jensen JMV85 that stopped working. I was hesitant to purchase the Teknique DVD player since it had no reviews on Amazon. I end up going with it because of the price, available color (beige/tan) and the weight. I was looking at several other brands that had multiple reviews but they did not come in beige/tan or were out of stock at the time.

The installation is in a 2004 Ford Eddie Bower Expedition with a sunroof. The sunroof adds some complexity to the installation because the DVD player actually hangs from the headliner. Hence why the weight of the unit was an important factor.

Installation:
I was dealing with a hole in the headliner from the previous installation and ended up mounting the Teknique's mounting plate to the Jensen mounting plate. It doesn't sound like it but it was the easiest option. The only issue I ran into related to this unit was that the 3 dome light wires (power, ground, door switch)...


I believe, explains the few gripe respecting Performance Teknique Icbm9513-beige All in One Huge 9 Inch Flip Down, Roof Mount Car Monitor not fitting or leaking.
