Review : Good concept, good sound, pretty bad knob
My previous head unit finally crapped out after dying a slow, annoying death.

I concluded that all I needed was line in and pre-amp outputs. That's all I need for my ipod touch. My system does not require the head unit for amplification and I don't use CDs or listen to the radio anymore.

I chose this more expensive model because I wanted the BT integration. I moved to CA and it's not legal to drive on the phone without handsfree. It also had a nicer display.

The unit has lots of adjustments. I only use the 7 band eq and adjusted sound for my car's speaker distances. It sounds really good.

You can see all your playlists and content type on the display.

Overall, I'm pleased but the selector knob is pretty bad. It presses, rotates and moves four ways. The menu system is not very intuitive when navigating and I have trouble pressing in the knob, often moving it in one of four directions with unexpected results. Sometimes it doesn't...
