I'm an electronic technician, so building the kit wasn't too much of a challenge. The instructions were very good. The biggest problem is reading the values on the actual components, the use of a magnifier was a must for my eyes. Other than that everything was fine and If you take your time, everything should work. If it does not check your solder connections. I finished the kit in 4 to 5 hours, hooked it up and nothing happened. The problem turned out to be a bad solder joint and once that was cleared, everything was fine. The transmitter is compact, and sturdy. Coverage is more than I expected. For my initial test I adjusted the transmit power for about two-thirds of maximum and put it in a second floor room using just the built in whip antenna. I then got in my car an was able to receive the signal up to around one-quarter mile away. Since I only need backyard coverage, I backed the power down to around one-third. The audio quality is very good, I can now plug my mp3 player or...
