Review : Not so Awesome Unit - KDC-BT652U
Okay, first I am going to say that this is the best Kenwood in-dash single-din unit I have ever purchased. I have been a loyal Kenwood owner for over 20 years. This unit operates flawlessly so far. The primary reason I wanted it was for the RDMS feature and BT audio streaming. This 2012 model is the first time Kenwood has integrated the AD2P function into the head unit (about time). I had a KDC-MP438U with both a KCA-BT100 and KCA-BT300 blueooth module and the bluetooth function was horrible. Half the time call audio would not connect and on the BT300, even the audio streaming would not connect with my Samsung Galaxy S phone.

With the KDC-BT652U, it works perfectly every time (pairing with phone was simple). Super easy to install since I already had a Kenwood unit that I was replacing, took 5 minutes. As with all Kenwood units, navigating the various option settings can be challenging with the volume button selector, however better than past models I have owned. The...
