Review : Great value - wiring power can be confusing
This unit is a great combination of functionality and value. The combination of bluetooth support and marine weather are unavailable at this price. I installed it with a pair of Yamaha NS-AW150W outdoor speakers and the sound exceed my expectations.

When I initially wired the unit for power, the face plate would not power on. However, if I removed the face plate, there was a slowly blinking red light, like an anti-theft indicator. After a significant amount of hunting on discussion boards, I learned that there are actually two positive power wires that need to be connected, including one marked "accessory" (I believe) in the manual. The intent is for the thicker positive wire to carry the current, and the thinner positive wire to sense when the ignition is turned on. This makes sense in a car, but not in my application, where there is a master A/B battery cutoff switch. I'm sure all professional installers are aware of this, but I can't be the only do-it-yourselfer...
